3D Printed Automotive Parts & Accessories
Engineered, tested, and built by Hot Rod Daycare for real automotive performance.
At Hot Rod Daycare, our 3D printed parts aren’t simple hobby prints. Every piece is designed in Fusion 360, refined through multiple prototypes, and printed on high-precision Bambu Lab printers. We test each design for fit, strength, heat resistance, and long-term reliability so you get a part you can trust.
Designed with Precision in Fusion 360
Every part begins as a fully modeled CAD design in Fusion 360. We take precise measurements, build accurate geometry, and simulate real-world stresses. Each design goes through several iterations before it ever reaches a printer. This ensures proper fitment, correct tolerances, and a professional appearance.
Accurate measurements & fitment
Versioned design improvements
Stress and geometry checks
Custom-engineered for automotive use
Prototype → Test → Improve → Repeat
Every product goes through multiple rounds of development.
Tested in Real Automotive Environments
Our parts don’t go straight from a computer to your vehicle. Every design is tested on real cars under real conditions. We expose parts to heat, vibration, UV light, and mechanical stress — the same challenges they’ll face in your build. If a part fails, we redesign it. If it warps or flexes, we strengthen it. We don’t release anything until it holds up in the real world.
Heat and UV testing
Vibration and impact resistance
Chemical and fuel exposure (as applicable)
Redesigns based on real-world failures
High-Performance Materials for High-Performance Builds
We print using engineering-grade materials chosen specifically for automotive environments. ASA for heat and UV resistance, PETG for strength and flexibility, TPU for vibration-damping parts, and carbon-fiber blends for high-load applications.
ASA: Heat & UV resistance
PETG: Impact strength
TPU: Flexibility for vibration
CF-Nylon: Extreme durability
Our Printers: Bambu Lab X1 Carbon & P1S
Precision dimensional tolerance
Active vibration compensation
Controlled chamber for ASA
Carbon fiber compatible
High-speed, high-quality surface finish
We Don’t Release a Part Until It’s Right
Some designs take five or ten iterations before they’re ready. Some never reach production at all. If a part doesn’t meet our standards for fit, durability, heat resistance, and strength, we don’t sell it. You get parts that have been installed, tested, re-tested, and proven on actual vehicles — not untested hobby prints.
This is real engineering — not trial-and-error.
