At Hot Rod Daycare, we don’t just make decor; we preserve the soul of the machine. Our Series 1 Preservation Plates take iconic silhouettes—from the raw power of the ’69 Camaro to the high-tech precision of the Modern 6th Gen—and immortalize them in a liquid-metal environment.

Hand-Poured & Unrepeatable

Unlike mass-produced prints, every background is hand-agitated using premium pearl pigments and alcohol inks. As the epoxy sets, we create custom “flames” and kinetic swirls that ensure your plate is a unique artifact. Even if we sell 100 Chargers, no two backgrounds will ever be identical.

The Performance Tread Frame

Each plate is housed in a high-durability Performance Tread Border. This 3D-printed texture provides a rugged, tactile frame that grounds the shimmering epoxy and pays homage to the contact patch that connects these legends to the road.

Engineered for Stability

Every Preservation Plate includes a custom-designed Interlocking Base. Printed in high-grade PLA, the base locks into the back of the frame, providing the “heavy-duty” stability needed for a busy desk or garage environment.

• ’69 Chevrolet Camaro: Highlights the iconic F-Body “Coke Bottle” styling and the aggressive cowl-induction hood profile.

• Modern (6th Gen) Camaro: Details the Alpha Platform geometry and the sharp, aerodynamic “flow-tie” era cooling lines.

• ’67 Ford Mustang Fastback: Captures the sweeping 2+2 roofline and the classic “triple-lens” rear architecture.

• Modern (S550) Mustang: Showcases the independent rear suspension (IRS) era stance and the signature tri-bar LED lighting signatures.

• ’69 Dodge Charger: Focuses on the massive B-Body “Double-Diamond” coke-bottle curves and the iconic hidden-headlight grille.

• ’69 Pontiac GTO: Labels the revolutionary Endura bumper tech and the signature “stacked” vertical headlight orientation.
